#CityforCorduroy exhibit is open!

The Museum of the City of New York opened its Don Freeman exhibit, “A City for Corduroy: Don Freeman’s New York,” on November 21. Visitors can see Don’s lively sketches of 1930s New York City, as well as early book drafts for Hattie the Backstage Bat, Pet of the Met, and of course, Corduroy. Don’s sketches of New York, drafts of children’s books, and everything in between are on display until June 2019.
